Hey There

I'm Magda,  a behavioural coach, researcher, and educator passionate about helping people turn good intentions into real, lasting change.

 

Most of us know what we should do to stay healthy — move more, eat well, sleep better, manage stress…But life happens. We get tired, busy, and overwhelmed. Stress builds up, routines slip, and old habits take over. That’s where behavioural coaching comes in.

A Bit About Me

I’m originally from Poland and came to Australia over ten years ago for what was meant to be a one-year adventure. I fell in love with the lifestyle, the community, and living close to the ocean… and I never left.

​

My European roots and Australian life shape the way I coach, which is grounded in science, guided by balance, and deeply connected to nature, movement, and empathy.

​

​When I’m not coaching, I’m usually exploring Newcastle with my daughter, walking or running by the beach, doing Pilates, or planning my next mountain or water adventure.

What Is Behavioural Coaching?

Behavioural coaching is grounded in health psychology and behavioural science.

It helps you understand:

  • Why certain habits stick

  • Why others don’t

  • How stress, emotions, environment and identity shape your behaviour

  • What actually helps change feel easier, not harder

It’s not about willpower, motivation, or “trying harder.” It’s about building repeatable habits supported by the right mindset, structure, and emotional balance.​

I help you translate knowledge into action — and action into consistent, lasting routines.

My role is to help you stay focused, confident, and consistent — so the things that matter most become part of your everyday life.

How My Approach Is Different

There are many coaches, PTs, and wellbeing programs out there.
What makes my approach different is a decade of work in behavioural science, health psychology, and evidence-based research.

​

I draw on:

  • Over 10 years in academia, working across behaviour change, chronic disease prevention, and health psychology

  • A PhD in Education (Health Psychology focus) from the University of Newcastle

  • Two Master’s degrees in Psychology 

  • Experience designing, evaluating, and supporting health behaviour change programs for diverse populations

  • Published research in top journals, including Preventive Medicine, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Psychology, Health & Medicine, International Journal of Behavioral Medicine, Psychiatry Research, and Journal of Physical Activity and Health

 

This means every strategy I use is grounded in evidence — not trends, fads, or guesswork.
But the way I coach is warm, down-to-earth, and practical.
